One in a million - Mother

 Hello readers!  πŸ€—

Second sunday of may passed a few days ago and how can I not write about it. So here's a blog dedicated to all the moms.
(To be read as sons and daughters)
Your opinion on what a mother means to you I know might be varying according to situations and ur moods of course..mine also did but not anymore. My journey from ' I can do everything on my own ,why do I need her' to 'even if my life's going well I need her' was quite dramatic and undoubtedly taught me alot of stuff. Now I feel whatever happens in ur life she is the constant .she might support you or she might even not but this won't change ur opinion and respect for her when u grow old and mature. U may feel that this theory won't hold true for all , but let me explain that it does..perhaps u are the person who doesn't talk to your mom on daily basis but there are certain things that u can only and only share with her. Well, there are specific people with whom you share your specific ideas , thoughts, incidents and opinions but my friend, your mother knows a whole lot about you πŸ˜‰. On a serious note, you should be grateful to her even if your opinions don't match or even if u end up arguing with her every now n then. If u still aren't convinced let me give u a reason why you are indepted to her . She is the one who provided you with nutrition from the time you were a selfish feotus to what you are now. A baby in mother's uterus gets its nutrition from the mother's blood and in turn it releases all the waste that it has generated in mother's blood itself...in my opinion this is just like stabbing someone in the back..though this one's a little too harsh 🀷‍♀️ . I hope this might have convinced you because philosophical stuff don't convince me either. Talking about current world , I feel people are busy in making their mothers as their best friends though there's nothing wrong in it but as per me every relation has its significance and importance. A relationship that you have with your mother is unique in itself and shouldn't be compared with other relations because this fashion of combining relations and showcasing one of them as convenient is mere stupidity and perhaps would make it worse. I feel this is a fair amount of information for all of us to digest and reflect on..so let's meet in the next blog.

These are just (true) opinions , I hope I didn't mentally hurt anyone.

  2. That was dam good dear. Really I to extremely agree that the status of relation given between children and mother couldn't be changed and even should not be changed. The most common tendency of human being is to realise after the movie is over. So that is what is the case even with mom and child relationship. You feel as if she opposing you but that time is so undescribable when you construe that her decision what right.

  4. For me my mother is my biggest critic, she is the one who keeps me grounded and show me my place in this compititive space. It is just everything I speak to her i learn a lot about myself and also the world. Even though we can't share everything with our mother, she understands much more than we think πŸ˜….
But the saddest thing i hear from my friends is that they don't have good communication with their mothers. I think this should be Changed and we should start opening up with our mother rather than finding a friend who isn't really interested in your reality.
BTW really a good blog 😸.
And ,mother is not one in million.
She is the only one in this entire lifetime.πŸ’–

Justice for Indian Press - Paranjoy Guha Thakurta

Hello readers πŸ‘‹ Before my blogs get too personal. I thought of writing on something that is personal yet not so personal.  Paranjoy Guha Thakurta- Journalist , a documentary filmmaker and the author of gas wars and sue the messenger. He has been a guest faculty in IIMs and taught in JNU and university of delhi . And is one of the most veracious reporters around us today (Atleast that's what you feel when you read his books, he fearlessly targets capitalism, prefers staying unknown, could not be bought even by the richest man like many other journalists can be)  Image : Wikipedia   Subject to copyright infringement   It all started when the editor of a portal named the citizen- seema mustafa asked paranjoy to write or rather compile the articles and information about the adani topic. He wrote his first article about PM's visit to australia along with Gautam Adani and Arundhati Bhattacharya (The head of SBI).He also wrote about the rumours that SBI would give a billio...

Much needed mental vitamins πŸ–€

Hello readers! Recently so me things gave me chills , things I never thought would happen to someone around me or someone so close to me as my brother. Let me put it this way, we had to pick up my brother from his school 2 hours earlier than his regular school time for around 3 days in a row. The reason as told by his principal was t hat he misses his mother  (he is 12 yrs old). Funny right ? the first day when he came home given this reason it was funny for us as well. But later when we had to pick him up early for three consecutive days...it wasn't funny. He did unusual things like waking up at the midnight and completing his incomplete notebooks or crying about not having friends (because he was a new student), which was strange for us, because he never really cared about finding friends and completing his incomplete notebooks before. On one not very fine day we got a call from the school again asking to pick him up once again because he misses his mother and just wanted ...

The foxes' land 🦚 - Not HCU's not the government's.

Hello readers πŸ‘‹ I know I'm way too late on writing about this issue but I just couldn't get enough time to get involved in this one as i get with the other ones.  But anyways it’s not every day that you see students getting arrested over bulldozers right?!?! but that’s exactly what happened at the University of Hyderabad (HCU) on March30, 2024. What started as a peaceful protest turned into full-blown clashes, with bulldozers entering the 400-acre stretch of land (Kancha Gachibowli) that’s been a point of contention for over two decades. The Telangana government planned to clear the forested area to make space for an IT park, but let’s be honest this wasn’t about just land, it’s about so much more. On March 29, bulldozers started rumbling towards the disputed land, and that’s when the students decided to make their voices heard. Over 50 students were arrested for blocking the bulldozers, and after a few hours, they were released on personal bonds. But that didn’t stop the prot...
