For those who think monsoons are pretty.
Staring outside ur window sitting in the comfort of your house sitting beside your loved ones, sipping in hot beverage ,seeing those drops falling harshly down the road and the soil around might feel awesome , positive and all but putting reality aside no positivity will do you great.
16 people died due to single landslide in irshalwadi let us ask them : Was it romantic to see your loved ones for the last time...seeing a big heavy rock going straight into their heads.
Was it romantic to see your family photo collapsing on the floor just like your life did few seconds ago.
Was it romantic seeing those walls which ones were your strength fall apart like there weren't any.
Was it romantic seeing your entire village wipe in the span of a night...waking up in the morning and seeing you are the only one left amongst those cruel pieces of rocks.
Was it romantic putting your children to sleep not having a thought that they might never wake up again.
Was it romantic putting them to sleep for the very last time.
Juggling between these pair of opposites that life throws at you is even more difficult when you are not on any one side.
You see your loved ones die but you don't. You don't die but you don't live. You see the coin trying to balance on you, and you can't see any of its sides anymore all you see is a little bit of both.
Monsoons aren't pretty they are just showers of inconvenience.
- Vaishnavi

They aren't just showers of inconvenience, for some farmers, they are drops of joy.
ReplyDeleteEvery coin has two sides.
Here, by Monsoon I meant heavy rains and heavy rains are not good for crops as well.

DeleteWow! Just the way you flipped the coin is like mind-blowing! Going in first with the comfort of monsoons, and slowing bringing out the grey hues and then the dark clouds with its outpours of harsh truth drenching you in a cold reality that makes a chill run down your spine!!! Not to say, a monsoon hater like me got more reasons to hate it, heheπ Jokes apart, well written, and keep writing more.
